What is The Welly Report?

The Welly Report is a new hyper-local publication celebrating the people, places and small details that make Somerset what it is. From village fundraisers and new café openings to proper countryside walks and local success stories, we’re here to shine a light on the good stuff happening right on our doorstep.

We’re starting with a quarterly print edition, designed to be picked up, passed around and left on kitchen tables. Alongside that, we’re building a lively digital presence with regular social posts and emails that keep you up to date between issues. The aim is simple: thoughtful, well-designed content that feels rooted in the community, not parachuted in.

As we grow, so will the Report. More features, more contributors, more local partnerships. For now, this is our first step: boots on the ground, ears open, and a genuine interest in telling Somerset’s stories properly.
